The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has accused the outgoing Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, of attempting to create a crisis in the country for electoral gains.

In an interview with Kanal 10, Haradinaj labeled Kurti as “Putin’s boy”, stating that “the crisis in Kosovo suits no one but Russia.”

“He wants to drag the country into crisis just for votes. This crisis serves only Putin, no one else,” Haradinaj declared.

He cited the punitive measures by the European Union and the suspension of the Strategic Dialogue with the United States as consequences of Kurti’s policies, which, according to Haradinaj, have severely damaged Kosovo’s interests.

Regarding the balance of power with Serbia, Haradinaj emphasized that Kosovo can only rely on NATO forces and American armament, as any activation of local forces would risk internal stability.

“If we activate militarily, we only endanger our own territory. We create a crisis that could make Kosovo a target for division. Serbia has fighter jets and can provoke without disrupting its own peace. We must count on NATO and America, which he is currently irritating,” he said.

Finally, Haradinaj referenced the United States’ call for Kosovo not to become a hotspot of crisis but to continue fulfilling its international obligations.
